Zur Zeit steht noch keine Übersetzung zur Verfügung The gift of Reiki has been invaluable and crucial since it was reintroduced to humankind. It was reactivated nearly a hundred years ago by Dr. Usui and has brought many blessings to the whole planet and into peoples lives. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese language and can be translated as universal (Rei) life force (Ki). Through Reiki attunements and an opening to higher levels of consciousness, a growing awareness about energy healing in general emerged globally and people began to remember long forgotten knowledge. This has led to the development of numerous and new energy based healing modalities today, which can be similar and/or overlapping in their method and approach. Five-Element-Seichem is one of these with Reiki playing a grounding role. Today there are many different branches of Reiki, such as the Reiki Alliance, the most traditional Reiki group, the Reiki Network based in Australia and New Zealand, Independent Reiki, International Reiki, Golden Reiki, The Radiance Technique, Rainbow Reiki, Tera-Mai™ Reiki and many others. All of these Schools consider Dr Usui from Japan to be the overall founder of Reiki as we use it today. Mrs Takata brought it to the United States of America. From there it spread to Western cultures. Reiki as part of Five-Element-SeichemEven though every form of energy healing works with universal life force, Reiki is associated with the Earth element healing ray. It is important for grounding and giving a foundation. In Five-Element-Seichem, one is connected to all the five element healing rays of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether which are all aspects of this life force, enabling advanced forms of energy healing as we work with the Divine Consciousness of these rays. We move from universal life force to universal light. While Reiki is applied generally in a non-specific way to simply allow the energy to flow, Seichem encompasses several forms of treatments based on the characteristics of the five elements. Seichem students also learn additional skills and techniques, which enhance their abilities as a Healing Practitioner and Teacher. These include breathing techniques to raise spiritual vibration of the practitioner and client, and body-oriented communication and interactions skills. Overall, practitioners that work with Five-Element-Seichem are more directly involved in the healing process. A Reiki Master and a Seichem Master can be compared to a general practitioner and a specialist. Although the specialist has started out with the basic training similar to the GP, they would have learned additional skills and techniques for advanced surgery and medical treatments. Apart from Five-Element-Seichem there are also a few other streams of Seichem called Sekhem, Seichim or Tera-Mai™ Seichem today.
